SANTA ROSA, Calif. (KGO) — A 22-year-old woman is paralyzed from the waist down after strong winds swept through Santa Rosa on May 17, toppling tree limbs and knocking out power.
Jasmine Mayer was at a park near Steele Lane Elementary School with a friend when the winds picked up. Her father, Andy Mayer, described the moment the accident happened.
