This small island, barely one kilometer long, seems to rise gently from the sea, surrounded by calm, crystal-clear waters, marshes, century-old pine forests, and native flora that has withstood the test of time.
A true island gem, the Chapel of La Toja is a historic place of worship that has beautified the Galician landscape since the 12th century. However, it was not until the 1950s that it was completely covered with seashells; shells whose pearly ridges cast an iridescent glow in pinkish-white tones.
