Following the beatification of Archbishop Fulton Sheen in St. Louis on Sept. 24, Bishop Louis Tylka of Peoria will bring a first-class relic of the newly Blessed to St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Thursday, Oct. 1 at 2 p.m. The relic will then be available for public veneration. This is not the same relic as was presented at the beatification Mass.
At 5 p.m. that day, Archbishop of New York Ronald Hicks will celebrate a Mass of reception of the relic, joined by Bishop Tylka….
