The U.S. Coast Guard is expected to have its first group of trainees on the new campus in Birmingham by the end of the year. Between now and then, there will be a lot of work happening to turn the former Birmingham-Southern campus into a training facility.The new identity of the campus is opening up lots of opportunities for other businesses.
