Abhishek Prakash at It’s FOSS wrote up a way to fix a Raspberry Pi that can no longer reach your network: edit the WiFi settings straight from the microSD card.
This is handy when the router changed, the SSID and password are new, and hooking the Pi up to a monitor and keyboard is more trouble than it is worth.
