KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Millions of people have a chance to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights tonight.
A strong geomagnetic storm brings the possibility of catching the phenomenon as far south as Kansas and Missouri on June 5.
The possibility of cloud cover and storms moving into the Kansas City area lowers the possibility of seeing the sight, however.
NOAA has a website that shows the possibility of the Northern Lights appearing in any area within the next 30 minutes.
