SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – With Fourth of July festivities wrapping up, fire officials say proper storage can keep leftover fireworks from becoming dangerous.
Even though the holiday has passed, many families still have fireworks at home. Tim Clarkson, Logan-Rogersville FD Assistant Fire Chief, says unused fireworks should be kept in a cool, dry place, ideally in a dry box or plastic tote, to protect them from moisture and damage.
