Do You Really Need a New Computer? Maybe Not.
A viewer recently sent me a question that I suspect a lot of people are asking themselves. Pat wrote: “I need a new computer because Microsoft is no longer updating mine. But I don’t use my computer like I used to. I’m wondering if the new iPad will work just as well as a computer.”
It’s a great question. Microsoft stopped updating older PC desktops and laptops with Windows 11. Those older computers are no longer getting security updates. And Pat highlights something many of us have experienced over the last decade.
