Active weather is making a return to California through the weekend with snow, rain, thunderstorms and gusting winds all expected. Northern California is likely to see the highest risk of severe thunderstorms, while the Sierras watch for heavy mountain snow and decreased visibility.
Heavy Snow Incoming
Winter storm warnings are in effect through Sunday in the Sierra Nevada as high elevation areas are likely to see heavy snowfall. Though the snow level looks to fall steadily throughout the weekend, meaning many passes will be difficult to travel with reduced visibility and likely road closures.
