The Worst Case Scenario
According to CDC projections, in a worst-case scenario where only one in five infected people are identified and isolated within two days, the outbreak could exceed 20,000 cases within three months.
If only 20% of cases enter isolation within two days of symptom onset, more than 20,000 cases are projected in 2 out of 3 of our scenarios.
