Millions across the country are bracing for rounds of severe weather Saturday afternoon. The Northern High Plains and the Ohio Valley to the Northeast could see large hail and damaging wind gusts.
Storms Expected From the Ohio Valley to the Northeast
A cold front heading east across the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley will provide the fuel for thunderstorm development on Saturday. Increasing humidity and warm temperatures ahead of the front will help fuel storms through the afternoon and evening.
The highest severe threat is expected during the afternoon and early evening hours across Pennsylvania, western New York, and parts of New England.
