From day one of my freshman year, the intersection of Bowditch and Channing held a certain mystique: I knew Crossroads, known affectionately as “Croads,” was going to be a special place for me. During my first two weeks on campus, I exclusively ate at Croads. I lived in Unit 2, and Croads was only a block away. The dining hall quickly evolved into a place of comfort and convenience for me. At the time, I hadn’t yet found many friends, so I would go alone every day and ask to sit with random people. As you can imagine, I made several friends and connections this way.
