Exceptional Drought Expands Across North and Central Florida
Nearly all of Florida remains in drought, with the latest U.S. Drought Monitor showing 99% of the state affected. Extreme drought covers 54% of Florida, while another 22.7% is now classified under exceptional drought, the highest category on the scale.
